Partners

Coalition for the Homeless works with over 40 different partners to better serve our clients. Several partners, including Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare, Goodwill Industries and the LifeStrides program, through Orange County Public Schools, have offices on campus.

The Orange County Public Schools LifeStrides program, is located on the main campus, and is open to the entire community. Every adult who comes to the Coalition visits the LifeStrides classroom for an assessment test. Clients can take free courses to either get their GED, or focus on continued education. More than 200 different technical programs are offered through schools like Valencia Community College and Seminole County Community College. The courses are available at no cost to students in the program.

Lakeside Behavioral Healthcare provides mental health counseling for men, women, and children six days a week at the Coalition’s main campus.

Goodwill Industries provides job search and job retention skills training for clients on-site.

Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Law students are working with clients at the Coalition, providing free legal services. In Florida, second- and third-year law students can provide legal services for clients under the supervision of an attorney.
