Coalition for the Homeless provides over 211,000 nights of shelter a year to homeless men, women and children in Central Florida. On any given night, the Coalition provides services to nearly 200 children, with an average age of less than seven years old.
Clients on the road to self-sufficiency work one-on-one with a case manager throughout their stay at the Coalition. Case management is how the Coalition offers hope to those who need help; it is the path toward progress.
Case managers build close relationships with their clients and are a part of their lives for the duration of their stay at the Coalition. Case managers match clients with programs and services offered by the Coalition or partners, including Orange County Public Schools, Goodwill Industries and Lakeside Alternatives, to name a few.
Clients create a savings account and budget during their time at the Coalition.
In addition to case management, multiple services are available, including:
- Child Development Program
