Coalition Elects Board Officers & New Members for 2008-2009
ORLANDO, Fla. — (October 27, 2008)—At its October Annual meeting, the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, Inc. Board of Directors elected officers and members for 2008 -2009. Serving their second one-year term, the Board Officers are: Chairman, Brian T. Wilson – Dellecker, Wilson, King, McKenna & Ruffier, LLP; Vice Chairman, Charles Tews – Tews Company; Secretary, Kelly Benson – Orlando Sentinel Communications; and Treasurer, John E. Hearn – Orlando Utilities Commission.
Newly elected to the Board for a three-year term is Scott Stahley, Executive Vice President - the Florida Division of Lincoln Properties.
Elected to serve a second, three-year term are: Kelly Benson - Orlando Sentinel Communications; Tracey Ellerson - Baker & Hostetler LLP; Glenn Fournier - CNL Real Estate & Development; John Moskos - Bank of America; and Laura Pooser - Junior Achievement of Central Florida. Elected to serve a third, three year term is Holly Vanture of Fern Creek Elementary School.

Coalition for the Homeless is the largest provider of homeless services in Central Florida and the largest residential facility for children. On a given night, the Coalition provides services to nearly 200 children. Their average age is less than seven-years-old. Over 70% of our resources come from individuals, businesses, faith-based groups, and other private sector sources. The organization is guided by a 42-member Board of Directors.
