Art Reception with a Twist Benefits Coalition for the Homeless

ORLANDO, Fla. — (May 16, 2007) —On May 15th, Let’s Eat! Winter Park teamed with local artist Lubniela Mileva for a unique reception to benefit Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, Inc.

Having once sought shelter at the Coalition’s facilities and gotten her life back on track as the result of their programs & services, the Bulgarian-born artist has since displayed her unique art throughout the region and opened her own interior design business.

Grateful to those who helped in her journey, Lubniela promised herself she would dedicate part of her work as an artist and teacher to the Coalition for the Homeless. True to her vow, she recently taught an art class to children living at the homeless shelter and, along with the owners of Let’s Eat! Winter Park, donated a portion of last evening’s profits to help further the work of the Coalition.

Excited about Lubniela’s dynamic art and her story of survival, as well as the Coalition’s goals, Let’s Eat! Winter Park owners Chris Houck and Rick Rider said this is but the first of many such events to “give back” to the community.
