COALITION FOR THE HOMELESS OF CENTRAL FLORIDA ELECTS JOHN MOSKOS TO VOLUNTEER BOARD OF DIRECTORS
(John P. Moskos will serve on 42-member volunteer board, which oversees the largest provider of homeless services in Central Florida.)
ORLANDO, Fla. — (January 23, 2006) — Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida recently elected John P. Moskos to serve as a board member for the next year.
Moskos is senior vice president and city executive of The Private Bank of Bank of America in Orlando. Moskos is responsible for the Bank of America Global Wealth Management business in Central Florida, providing investment, trust and banking services to select individuals and their families.
Moskos previously worked for FleetBoston Financial Group in Boston, Massachusetts as regional president and market leader of North Boston Private Clients Group.
Prior to joining FleetBoston Financial Group, Moskos was employed by Chase Manhattan Bank for 23 years, where he held various positions in retail, marketing, advertising and commercial banking, including six years as the Eastern New York regional president.
Moskos is also serves on the Orlando Ballet Board of Directors.
Moskos was born and raised in the Albany, New York area. He and his family reside in Winter Park, Florida.
About Coalition for the Homeless
Coalition for the Homeless is the largest provider of residential services for children in Central Florida. One out of every four people the Coalition serves is a child, with an average age of eight-years-old.
The Coalition works to address the needs of the homeless in the community and serves as a catalyst for community collaboration to end homelessness by offering comprehensive programs and job training to help the homeless return to self-sufficiency.
